Old School House, Tiaban, New Mexico June 2005
In a response to a comment on yesterday's entry -- I do revisit places where I have found images in the past. That first image of the old school in Tiaban presented in yesterday's blog was made in 1976, and here it is 29 years later. On this most recent trip was the first time I had ever been able to see the inside of the building. In the past, it had been in use for one purpose or another, and the doors were always locked. Now the prairie winds blow through broken windows and open doors, birds are nesting in the light fixtures. I don't expect to see that building standing on my next trip through.
