Driving around Austin, Texas, every so often you'll see a bumper sticker that says "Keep Austin Weird." There are many who are actively doing just that. And out in the in countryside away from Austin, there are people working hard to "Keep Texas Weird," also. Sometimes it's all about people choosing to be weird, and sometimes Mother Nature steps in and show's its weird hand.

Simple answer -- it's Texas. But for you folks of northern climes, it's a dead armadillo. Tina, I don't explain'm, I just take the pictures.
