Sublette County, Wyoming 2 August 1985
It is only by chance that I scanned this negative today, exactly 24-years from the day I made the image. It is so rewarding to scan these older 8x10" negatives because it allows me to see the images, for the very first time, bigger than a contact print. I made a very beautiful 17x22" print of this one today. This image is in the permanent collection of MOMA.
