FOG

Wachusetts Reservoir, Clinton, MA 27 November 2011

This past Sunday morning I woke to find it foggy outside my bedroom window. I grabbed the camera and tripod and took a drive around the reservoir. Granted it's a pretty picture, but then again, I sometimes like pretty pictures. I find peace in a quiet landscape. The whole time I was making this image, there was a loon diving and feeding on the bottom to my left. I could follow his underwater travels by the small bubble trails on the surface of the water. For a few short minutes, all was right with the world.
