Things just keep getting more weird. I saw this plume of smoke many miles away -- I think I was still in Colorado when I first became aware of it. It looked more like a t-bugger from that distance. I shot this sky pic at the end of the runway of the airport in Vernal, Utah. And later when coming back from Tex-Mex, I saw they had lighted the dino display. The sky behind the dino is literally smoke from the forest fire. The smoke is staying high and not getting to the ground level, thankfully.
