This one is for my friend, Dave, who has been posting flag images on his blog in response to my telling him about an assignment I gave my digital class -- find pics of flag and uses of flags in and about our towns and cities. Especially worn and torn flags. In the 1980's, I spent considerable about of time photographing Main Streets of small town across the country.
