A comments from yesterday's post ask what was the location of the China Berry tree picture. The file envelope say Waring, TX 1/88. Waring is over near Comfort, TX, and just down the road from Welfare, TX. Use to be able to buy a T-Shirt in the Waring General Store that proclaimed: "Waring -- A Little Too Close To Welfare for Comfort." Gotta' love those Texas country philosophers.
