THIS OLD TEXAS PLACE 19

Hamilton, Texas 2008

I continue to be amazed at how far around the world my blog entries reach. A couple of days ago, Paul Butzi again mentioned he enjoyed following along with the travels the ol' Pitchertaker. Lately I have been posting images from my recent trip to Texas, and while I seem to have a consistent daily viewership of about 40 people/hits, the mere mention on Paul's blog has pushed that number to well over 200. It's not the number of hits that impress me, but the location from where those folks are viewing. Not just all over the United States, but all over the world. How cool is that? I can't identify any of these people, and see little reason I would even want to. However, I remain mystified that almost no one ever comments although I see continued hits from several of these people. It's just curiosity on my part, and whether people comment or not will not sway me from putting up more images, and from time-to-time speaking my mind. Thanks to everyone for visiting. I appreciate it.

Hi! I'm from Leicester in the UK, always looking forward to the next image, so there's a bit of curiousity out of the way!

Hi Colin...thanks. I've just recommended to a couple of students that they may want to do a project much like your Picasa slide show on "Lubbesthorpe Bridle Road." I loved seeing the changing seasons.
