A LITTLE TRIP TO TEXAS

Austin, Texas 7 January 2011

New Years was done, and classes didn't start for another two weeks, so off to Texas we went for Ellen's sister's wedding. Driving into Austin from the airport, I spotted this on the side of a boarded up "gentlemen's club." I know I have been absent for some days (months?) now, but it has been an extremely busy period. Barely enough time to eat, sleep, and get on with it. More on the cause of this business later....good busniness, btw.

Our time in Austin was all too brief. Just time enough to eat at once and visit my gallery before heading to Waco, and then once again to eat and visit friends before heading to the airport. But did make it to Louie Mueller's in Taylor while traveling from Waco to Austin which means it was a good trip.

First off, what a pleasant surprise to see your post pop up on my dashboard. It sounds like things are going well for you!

I like this photo. It's one of those things that most people wouldn't even see. Welcome back!
