West Virginia Roadside Shrine June 14, 2007

Just a quick Saturday morning note before I head out....SHRINES. They are everywhere. Generally I get the feeling that someone did something stupid, got killed, and now there are these distracting reminders. Reminders of what? I'm not against people's need to express their grief over lost loved ones, but there is little need to fill these sites with obsessiveness. So when I find shrines that I think are a bit over the top, I stop and make a quick digital image.
