BENEATH STILL WATERS....

A few years later, I made another image from almost the same spot as the previous entry. Where the camera can be placed is dependent on the river itself -- water level and how the river has moved the sand bars around. This one vertical and with my 75mm lens on 4x5 film, where the previous image was horozontal with the same 75mm lens using a 6x12cm roll film back. Enough with the techie stuff. What I like about landscape and especially places like St. Elena Canyon in Big Bend National Park is how much it changes while staying the same. I love going back year after year and letting the canyon tell me about its moods.
