CLASS PICTURES

The above images are a selection of one print from each of the student final porfolios created in my intro digital class. If you'd like to see bigger versions of these prints, go here. Would that I had the time, I would have like to copy all the prints from each portfolio and put them up. All of the final prints were printed on 17x22" with at least a one inch border all around. They looked great. All were printed on Ilford's Smooth Pearl using our Epson 4000 printer. They did me proud.

You pulled some good work out of them. I see they were shooting with a 40D; is that the school's camera, or does each student have their own?

OK, I'll vote for Nate's fire extinguisher. Shades of The Master but very original seeing.

Gordon: the 40D is mine and the way pbase does things (I new at pbase) is put some of the meta data along with the images. I merely used my 40D to copy the images.
Dave: It is my rule to try and not influence them to make pictures like me, but to make their own images. I don't show a lot of my work during class....

Isn't assigning grades going to be a bitch?

Always is. Nothing I hate more than having to assign grades.
