NO PHOTO SUMMER

Worcester, MA July 2011

I can account for my absence and lack of posting -- contractors rampaging through the house for the past month. The noise is such that it's hard to concentrate on creating finished images. And there are things that I have agreed to "fix" instead of having "those people" take care of it -- like replacing old two slot receptacles in the area where some serious repair work is being done. And I have spent a few days at school updating computers, getting new one installed, etc. The above image was shot after attending a summer opening at Arts Worcester. I was walking back to the truck when I noticed the face down sunflower. With only a Canon G12 in my pocket, I did the best I could -- well there was some help in Photoshop. All the fuss with the house is the anticipation of my daughter's wedding October 1. She wants to have the wedding reception here at the house and that means getting things ready. Stay tuned, I might even take an image or two between now and when class start up again only one month from today.

Nice tart apple martinis are enjoyed from time-to-time.
