LIB PIX

Vineyard Haven, MA July 2003

Another one that Libbie wanted on the wall. We use to spend more time on the Vineyard, and early one foggy morning, I was out and about. The fog had lifted on the land but remained over the ocean. Me and the tripod balanced on a one-foot wide wall, it was all just too perfect.

Reminds me of Winslow Homer.

Sometimes we get lucky, and I'm just thankful that I have the craft to capture what I see. Wasn't Ansel who said that luck was when opportunity and craft came together...or some such?
